Useful hurdler in France who gained small-field victories over hurdles/fences at up to 20f for present yard in the autumn. Has remained in good form since, second at Uttoxeter last time. Ought to be in the shake-up off a 2 lb lower mark.

Fairly useful hurdler who shaped with some encouragement when fourth at Wincanton (20.2f) on chasing debut. Pulled up at Hereford since though so she needs to bounce back.

Fairly useful winner at 21f over hurdles who made mistakes when only sixth on her chase debut at Warwick in November. Reverts to this sphere after two solid hurdling efforts and remains with potential.

Picked up for £50,000 after winning sole start between the flags and showed fair winning form over hurdles for Nicky Henderson subsequently. Has since had a wind op and starts out over fences for new yard after 22 months off but she's still of major interest.

Yet to score for current yard but she has taken well to fences, runner-up in 2m4f handicaps at Wetherby and Carlisle this year. Shortlisted off an unchanged mark.

Quite a useful handicap hurdler at her peak but is yet to fully convince in three starts as a chaser, coming in last of 3 over C&D 8 days ago. Others appeal more.

Fair winner at 20f over hurdles who matched that form on her chasing debut when third of 4 in handicap chase at Huntingdon (23.6f, good to soft) 21 days ago, despite going in snatches. Needs to build on it now.

BALLINGERS CORNER has a long absence to overcome but scored on her debut over hurdles and wouldn't be the first new inmate of Venetia Williams' yard to make a winning chasing debut so gets the nod. The consistent Fortunes Melody rates the obvious threat, with La Renommee another in-form mare who can have a say.
