Has been going the right way in his qualifying runs over hurdles, in touch until 3 out when sixth of 14 in novice at Huntingdon in January. Open to improvement on his handicap debut.
Irish point winner who has improved on each of his 3 starts over hurdles so far. After a wind op (also in first-time tongue tie), found only a smart prospect too strong in a Southwell novice last time and he can progress again now handicapping.
Winner of back-to-back juvenile hurdles at Newton Abbot in July 2021 but, after 16 months off, has struggled in handicaps both starts this season. Best watched.
Bumper winner who performed to a fair level when runner-up on the second of his 2 starts in maiden hurdles last term. After a wind op, back on track when fourth of 9 in handicap at Huntingdon last time. Needs to build on his latest effort.
Won on second of only 2 outings last season for Paul Nicholls and then was off 17 months ahead of the current campaign. Made a low-key start for his current yard, but back to form when runner-up in handicap at this C&D 8 days ago. Major player.
Didn't show much in a trio of novice hurdles, but made more impact when second of 14 at Ffos Las on handicap debut in December. Could still have more to offer.
Yet to better poor form over hurdles, finishing tailed off in both of his starts in handicaps. Easy enough to look elsewhere on his return from 13 months off.

Forecasts
Light In The Sky (15/8), Weaver's Answer (9/4), Thankyourluckystar (9/2), Ballabawn (9/2), Dusky Days (10/1), Scrappy Jack (33/1), Cards Are Dealt (80/1)
Having dropped in the weights, LIGHT IN THE SKY bounced back to his best when runner-up at this C&D 8 days ago and he can go one better back down in grade. The biggest threat could be Ballabawn who is respected on his handicap debut, while Weaver's Answer could also still have more to offer.
