Bumper winner who gained a third victory over hurdles in a Huntingdon handicap (15.8f) last winter. Showed a similar level form first 4 starts over fences this term but ran poorly at Taunton latest and has since left Olly Murphy.

Looked rather fortuitous (left clear at the last) when getting off the mark over fences in a 4-runner handicap over 2m here in December and struggled over C&D next 2 starts, albeit 7 lb out of the weights last time.

Had wind op before completing his hat-trick on chasing debut in 8-runner handicap here (20.3f) 100 days ago, beating a subsequent winner. More to come and looks the one to beat.

Had been going the wrong way over hurdles but made a successful debut over fences under an enterprising ride over C&D last month. Must be respected with further improvement likely.

HOLD ONTO THE LINE continued his progress when completing the hat-trick on his chase bow over C&D in November and he's taken to defy a 7 lb rise given he pulled clear with a subsequent winner that day. Cartonne made all in a good time when off the mark over C&D on his chase debut last month and is the obvious threat.
