Landed 18.5f Exeter novice hurdle 12 months ago and very good second on handicap debut at Bangor (19.5f) in January. Held when unseated rider 2 out at Doncaster last time so needs to bounce back.

Fairly useful Irish hurdler who came close to opening his account over fences at Kelso in October. Below par since though, so he has a bit to prove now.

Scored at Perth in September and best run since when third at Carlisle (17f). Made mistakes before fell 4th over fences at Musselburgh last time. Can bounce back returned to this sphere.

Smart stayer on Flat in 2019 for Charlie Appleby. Made a winning hurdles debut at Carlisle last winter but little promise 12 months on at Haydock. Got no further than the third switched to a handicap at Catterick last time and now steps up in trip.

Has been in great hear this winter and bagged a second success in 12-runner handicap hurdle at Musselburgh (19.8f, good to soft) 22 days ago, forging clear from last. Up 6 lb but he's not taken lightly.

Coral Blue comes here at the top of his game and in next on the list despite taking a 6 lb rise for his Musselburgh success. Minella Youngy and Socks Off complete the shortlist.
