Jungle Jack⁵⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 12-0| J: B S Hughes| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 133| BF| D

11/8

Yet to finish outside of the first 2 across 6 starts over hurdles, backing up November's success at Haydock with a creditable second there in December. Straightforward sort who holds solid claims here.

Stainsby Girl⁴¹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-9| J: Mr Kit Alexander⁽⁵⁾| T: N W Alexander| OR: 128| C| D

6/1

Made a winning debut for this yard at Haydock in November but has found life much tougher off higher marks twice since. Bounce back needed.

Form: 211-155

Voix Du Reve^p²⁰

Age: 11| Weight: 11-8| J: Sean Quinlan| T: I Jardine| OR: 127| C| D

9/4

Won over C&D off 5 lb higher last March. Mixed record so far this season but he's very well treated if staging a revival. Might be worth chancing.

Form: 4-8248F

Chapel Green⁶¹

Age: 6| Weight: 10-5| J: S Mulqueen| T: Miss Lucinda V Russell| OR: 110

7/2

Confirmed promise of hurdle debut second when winning at Kelso (2m) in November. Better than the result in what has turned out to be a warm Wetherby handicap on Boxing Day. Retains potential.

Forecasts

Jungle Jack (11/8), Voix Du Reve (9/4), Chapel Green (7/2), Stainsby Girl (6/1), Lihyan (8/1), Fautinette (12/1)

VOIX DU REVE is at the veteran stage now but has been given a real chance by the handicapper and might be worth chancing back at the scene of his win last spring. The likeable Jungle Jack is a solid alternative, while Chapel Green and Lihyan are unexposed types who could easily have more to offer.
