Three-time chase winner last season who disappointed in handicaps at Aintree/Hereford in December but stopped the slide from an easing mark when runner-up behind re-opposing Quick Draw over C&D last month. Needs to build on that now.
Progressive hurdler who has improved for switch to chasing, albeit again found wanting in the latter stages having travelled like the second best horse at the weights when fourth behind Quick Draw over C&D 6 weeks ago. Eased 4 lb since at least.
Scored twice over hurdles for Tom Lacey last term and enhanced good record in blinkers for new yard (now 3-4) with back-to-back handicap chase victories in recent months, latterly over C&D. Career-high mark to defy here but he's clearly thriving and big player once more.
Winless since 2020 and he enhanced his frustrating run of placed efforts when third at Ludlow (23.8f) in December. Struggled to get seriously competitive in premier handicap at Cheltenham latest and this return to calmer waters rates an obvious plus.
Pretty low-mileage 10-y-o who boasts fairly useful form over hurdles/fences but not seen in competitive action since finishing fifth in a C&D handicap during late 2021. Betting should prove a useful guide with yard also saddling Not Another Muddle.
Dual winner of novice hurdles during 2019/20 campaign and made up into a useful chaser the following season. No real impact in 5 runs for new yard. pulled up over fences at Hereford (25.2f) 26 days ago. Had wind op since but he's clearly tough to assess at present.
Doubled chase tally at Fontwell (21.6f) in December but jumping let him down at Newbury (26f) next time and he was beaten some way out at Wincanton (25f) 23 days ago. First-time blinkers could well have positive effect now, though.
Back to winning ways in a veterans' event at Lingfield (20f) in December and remained in good heart subsequently, finishing a close-up third at Leicester (20f) 24 days ago. Each-way possibilities again in present groove.
C&D winner who built on reappearance hurdles run to score over fences at Southwell (20.4f) in November. Good second at Warwick followed and drop back to 2m may not have suited ideally at Hereford next time. Not out of things.
Successful in handicap chases at Fontwell and Huntingdon last season, though ended the campaign with a couple of below-par efforts and similar story in 2 starts over hurdles/fences so far this winter.
Veteran chaser who proved he retains some ability on back of almost 2 years on the side lines when sixth in 10-runner Exeter handicap (19.2f) 24 days ago. Task is to build on that now but he's definitely been given a chance by the assessor.

Forecasts
Quick Draw (13/8), Guy (6/1), The Edgar Wallace (13/2), Kap Auteuil (15/2), Foxboro (10/1), Go Steady (12/1), Generous Day (16/1), Lieutenant Rocco (18/1), Not Another Muddle (18/1), Iconic Muddle (22/1), Luckofthedraw (40/1)
QUICK DRAW has got firmly back on track in refitted blinkers of late, following up December's Uttoxeter success with an authoritative display over C&D 6 weeks ago, and Nicky Henderson's charge can defy another rise in the weights and complete the hat-trick. Foxboro, in first-time blinkers, also makes some appeal and he shouldn't be underestimated, with Generous Day and The Edgar Wallace others worth a look.
- Quick Draw13/8
- Foxboro10/1
- Generous Day16/1
