Useful on the Flat and has taken really well to hurdles, scoring at Sedgefield and Cheltenham (Grade 2) before excellent second back at Cheltenham in Finesse Hurdle last time. The form pick.
Useful 10f winner on Flat who has quickly reached that level in this sphere, landing the odds at Leicester and Huntingdon either side of excellent third in Chepstow Finale Hurdle. May do better still. Much respected.
Useful 1m4f scorer on the level who has made a good start over hurdles, landing Punchestown juvenile and solid third placings at Leopardstown and Fairyhouse since. Shortlisted.
Fairly useful winner on Flat in Ireland for Andrew Oliver. Changed hands for 215,000 gns before making highly impressive hurdling bow in 2m Taunton novice last month, scoring with plenty in hand. Most interesting prospect.
Fairly useful 1m4f Flat winner for Ian Williams who had breathing op before making an impressive hurdling bow for his new yard in juvenile at Doncaster 16 days ago. Tongue tied. In the mix with more to come.
Progressive 10f winner on Flat for Joseph O'Brien. Changed hands for 170,000 gns and went in at the first time of asking in this sphere at Wetherby in November. Good second in Wincanton novice last time so no forlorn hope for yard with excellent record in this contest.
Fair Flat winner who has taken well to hurdling, winning juveniles at Cartmel and Catterick. Good second in Musselburgh listed event last time, despite pulling hard. May do better still.
Useful 11f Flat winner for William Haggas. Since changed hands for 105,000 gns and this daughter of Golden Horn brings considerable potential to hurdling. Considered.

Forecasts
More Felons (6/4), Nusret (7/2), Perseus Way (13/2), Rare Middleton (7/1), Pawapuri (10/1), Sarsons Risk (10/1), Spartan Army (25/1), The Churchill Lad (50/1)
A cracking Adonis Hurdle with lots of potential on show but SCRIPTWRITER sets a high standard and can make it 3-4 in this sphere on the back of his excellent second in Cheltenham's Finesse Hurdle. Rare Middleton looked a most exciting prospect when going in on his debut at Taunton and isn't passed over easily, while Irish-raider Nusret and Nicky Henderson's newcomer Pawapuri need factoring in too.
- More Felons6/4
- Nusret7/2
