27,000 gns yearling, 50,000 gns 2-y-o, Sea The Moon filly. Half-sister to 10.5f winner Heft and 1m/9f winner Fragile Planet. Yard saddles another newcomer in Grand Duchess Olga and the betting should offer clues with regard to the perceived pecking order.

Highly promising sort. Third of 7 in minor event (11/2) at Wolverhampton (9.5f) on debut 12 days ago, running on. Open to plenty of improvement and she should have a big part to play.

Once-raced filly. 9/2, fifth of 13 in minor event at Newmarket (7f, soft) on debut in October, not knocked about. This step up in trip promises to help unlock improvement and she merits respect.

Sir Percy filly. Sister to 1¼m-1¾m winner Peripeteia and half-sister to useful 1m-1¼m winner Arch Moon. Dam 1¼m winner who stayed 1½m. Afloat is presumably the stable first-string, albeit the betting should point the way.

Once-raced filly. Last of 9 in minor event at Kempton (8f, 66/1) on debut 21 days ago, very slowly away. Up in trip and needs to raise her game considerably.

Once-raced filly. 16/1, sixth of 9 in minor event at Kempton (8f) on debut 21 days ago, not knocked about. Up in trip and should progress but yard fields a more appealing candidate in Glowing Sky on this occasion.

Forecasts

Eternal Hope (6/5), Glowing Sky (11/8), Mountain Song (7/2), Midsummer Dance (33/1), Afloat (66/1), Grand Duchess Olga (80/1), Kalama Sunrise (250/1)

Verdict

ETERNAL HOPE wasn't knocked about on her recent introduction at Wolverhampton where she finished hot on the heels of stablemate Mountain Song, who had the benefit of prior experience. It should again be close between them but Eternal Hope arguably possesses the greater potential and is taken to emerge on top this time. Glowing Sky looks the pick of the Gosden-trained duo and is best of the rest.
