Flemensfirth mare. Dam (c133/h131), 2m-23f hurdle/chase winner, half-sister to fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser (stayed 2¼m) Coolgreaney. Yard had some recent success in this event so certainly worth a second look in the market.
Telescope mare. Half-sister to bumper winner/useful hurdler Myplaceatmidnight. Dam (h116) bumper/2m hurdle winner.
Blue Bresil mare who offered little when well held over C&D on debut just under 6 weeks ago. Will need to leave that effort well behind to feature.
Soldier of Fortune mare who shaped much better than the bare result when down the field over C&D 4 months ago, weakening when running green 2f out. Should be better to come with that under her belt.
Well held in listed bumper at Huntingdon (15.8f, good to soft) on debut in December. Not discounted in these calmer waters.
Kayf Tara mare. Dam (c119/h103), 3m chase winner, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 3m) Finney. Of obvious interest on debut.
€13,500 3-y-o, £110,000 4-y-o, Affinisea mare. Dam unraced half-sister to bumper winner Preseli Star. Makes plenty of appeal on paper having been successful on last of 3 starts in Irish points (Nov 27).
Off mark in Irish points at second attempt last May but not a great deal of encouragement to be gleaned from 3 bumper runs so far, too free to last home at Hereford last month.
£16,000 3-y-o, Soldier of Fortune mare. Half-sister to fairly useful 19f/3m hurdle winner Makin'yourmindup. Dam, lightly raced on Flat, half-sister to dam of smart hurdler/chaser (stayed 21f) Blackstairmountain. One to note on debut.
Brazen Beau filly who showed plenty to work on under a patient ride when runner-up at Wetherby (12.4f, soft) in December. Every chance of going one better here if coping with the extra distance.
Getaway filly. Half-sister to fair hurdler Lady Chuffnell, stays 2½m. Dam (h114), 2½m hurdle winner, closely related to top-class hurdler/very smart chaser (2mm-21f winner) Oscar Whisky.
Black Sam Bellamy filly. Half-sister to modest hurdler My Lovely Boy, stayed 3m. Dam (b86), bumper winner, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stays 33f) Sam's Adventure.

Baby Sage (16/5), Amarbelle's Dream (9/2), Only By Night (5/1), Most Agreeable (13/2), Subtle Fortune (9/1), Time In The Sun (9/1), Lady Caro (10/1), Twyford's Diamond (16/1), Charmian's Place (18/1), Cotoneaster (20/1), Miss Chawner (33/1), Crazy Mary (40/1), Shiroccosmagicgem (50/1)
Fergal O'Brien landed this corresponding event last year and he can repeat the feat this time around with AMARBELLE'S DREAM, who showed plenty to work on amidst greenness when runner-up at Wetherby in December. There are several Rules debutantes of interest in opposition however, with Irish-point winner Only By Night, Most Agreeable and Subtle Fortune appealing most in that order before market clues.
