Dependable sort overall who ran well in pair of handicaps at Wolverhampton over Christmas. Can have his latest effort at that venue overlooked and no surprise to see a good showing dropped back to 7f. Cheekpieces back on.
Won all 3 starts on all-weather at 2 yrs. Confirmed he retains his ability following a lengthy absence when runner-up at Newcastle (6f) in December but not scaled same heights either start since.
Back-to-back AW novice winner at 2 yrs. Arrives here in good form, respectable third of 10 in handicap at Kempton (6f) 9 days ago, unsuited by drop in trip. Not taken lightly with blinkers again enlisted.
Landed back-to-back Chelmsford handicaps (at 7f) during December. Shade underwhelming from revised mark over 1m here 7 days ago though, and visor worn for those victories again left off here.
C&D winner who completed quick-fire hat-trick at Wolverhampton (6f) last month. Good placed efforts on 2 of her 3 starts since but mark in the 80's demands that little bit more.
C&D winner who went like the best horse at the weights and only just failed to reel in one who had a much better trip at Wolverhampton (7f) 13 days ago. One to be interested in from this mark.
Winless last year but made the frame all 4 starts on AW. Bright enough return to action in recent weeks, third of 8 in handicap at Newcastle (7.1f) 6 days ago. Good draw to operate from.
Latest win over C&D in January. 10/3, fourth of 7 in handicap at Chelmsford (7f) 8 days ago, just run out of things late on. Clearly in good heart at present but this is a tougher assignment.

Forecasts
Spirit Of Nguru (9/4), Noisy Night (3/1), Wyvern (7/2), Algheed (11/1), Baldomero (12/1), Lord Rapscallion (12/1), Gobi Sunset (12/1), Politics (14/1)
Having caught the eye on his return, WYVERN shaped like the best horse at the weights when only just failing to reel one in who had a much better trip at Wolverhampton 2 weeks ago and he can confirm the promise of that run and come out on top. Baldomero, whose latest run is easily overlooked, is a threat dropped back to 7f, along with Spirit of Nguru.
