Prince Rhinegold⁴⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Bryan Carver| T: Miss L Blackford

6/4

Hinted at promise on his hurdling bow over C&D in November (fell last) but came in well held in Wincanton novice last month. Could be the way to go all the same.

Form: 6-F0

Tout Paris³²³

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: G Sheehan| T: B Lund| OR: 70

9/2

Poor maiden who offered little in 5 starts over hurdles for Laura Young. Needs to hit the ground running for new yard after 10 months off.

Form: 30P005-

Elmaftun^p1,t²⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 10-4| J: David Noonan| T: N J Hawke

9/1

Poor Flat maiden who has cut little ice over hurdles. Needs to take a big step forward.

Form: 7F8

Loudspeaker¹⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 10-4| J: M G Nolan| T: J W Mullins

9/4

Fair maiden on Flat (stays 1½m) and sold from Michael Bell 50,000 gns in July. Brings potential to this sphere but came in last of 12 on his hurdling bow at Lingfield 10 days ago. Probably worth another chance in a very winnable event.

Forecasts

Prince Rhinegold (6/4), Loudspeaker (9/4), Tout Paris (9/2), Galactic Glow (9/1), Elmaftun (9/1)

Only PRINCE RHINEGOLD has shown any form of note over hurdles so he gets the nod to belatedly confirm the promise shown here in November. Loudspeaker showed little on his hurdling bow at Lingfield but was a fair performer on the level so could emerge as the main threat.
