Completed summer hat-trick at Stratford in June. Has struggled in deeper contests this winter, though, and others make more appeal on recent performances.

Made winning start on yard/hurdles bow in C&D novice in November and ran to similar level on second start when runner-up at Catterick on New Year's Day. Winner on Flat last time and he's shortlisted on handicap debut.
Fair Flat winner got off the mark at the second time of asking in this sphere in C&D maiden in December. Back on track when third of 11 in novice hurdle at Carlisle (17f, good to soft) 17 days ago. Hood applied for handicap debut and he's respected.
Runner-up in novice at Market Rasen on Boxing Day and shaped reasonably well until tiring when ninth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Musselburgh (19.8f, good to soft) 18 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time but mark still looks on stiff side.
C&D winner was placed all 4 starts over hurdles in 2022, most recently when third of 5 in another C&D event (soft) 93 days ago. Others perhaps have more scope for progress and yard form remains a concern.
Fairly useful form in France before making a successful start for new connections after 8 months off at Wetherby (16f, heavy) in December. Disappointing both outings since but could bounce back now handicapping and market support would be notable.
C&D winner last March but jumping issues typically reared their head when unseating in handicap chase at Catterick (15.7f, good) 20 days ago, though was in process of running well at the time. Back over hurdles now.
C&D winner. Eighteen runs since last win in 2020 and hasn't made much impression yet this term, so whilst he continues to slide in the weights, others are preferred.

Forecasts
Legendary Day (2/1), Start In Front (16/5), Bertie's Wish (5/1), Lord Caprio (13/2), North Parade (10/1), Golden Town (12/1), Glimpse Of Gold (14/1), They Call Me Pete (14/1)
A trio of handicap newcomers make most appeal, with LEGENDARY DAY fancied to follow up his recent Flat success and gain a second C&D win of the season. Bertie's Wish got back on track last time and rates the biggest threat, whilst Start In Front would be interesting if able to replicate the form of his UK debut when scoring at Wetherby.
