Fair handicapper on Flat (stays 11f) who was runner-up in maiden/novice hurdles for Iain Jardine at Perth last summer. Off 4 months, may have needed the run in 2m Musselburgh handicap for new yard 16 days ago.
Largely well held over hurdles for Ronan McNally in Ireland and no impact in 2 starts in Britain in December. Could only consider if the betting strongly suggests that an improved showing is anticipated.
Won at Southwell last spring. Placed in Plumpton seller and Southwell handicap to end 2022 but comfortably held over C&D on his recent first outing for this stable.
Fair hurdler who resumed winning ways in a handicap at Hexham in March 2021. Ran respectably at Kelso the following month and not seen again until well held at Sedgefield 38 days ago. Can only be watched for the time being.
Bumper winner in May 2021 and ran well when in the frame on 3 of her first 4 starts over hurdles. However, ended last season with a below-par effort and it's hard to get too excited by her 2 efforts this term. Bounce back needed but the handicapper has certainly given her a chance.
Winner of a pair of novice hurdles last March but hasn't been able to make a significant impact in his 4 handicap starts this season (beaten around 20 lengths when placed). Mark on the slide but others arrive with more pressing claims.
Placed in maiden hurdles at Newcastle before Chtistmas and made a respectable start to his handicap career when third over 2m at Ayr last month. Hughes retains the ride. One of the more likely types.
Novice hurdle winner in April 2021 but has struggled in a light handicap career since. Hopes are pinned on a recent wind operation having a positive effect.
Course winner who was a fair fourth at Sedgefield in September but has disappointed since, dropping away tamely at Musselburgh 16 days ago.
Pair of Sedgefield wins in November. His run of good form at that venue came to a halt 3 weeks ago but he's capable of bouncing back.
Modest on the Flat but switch to hurdles/fitting of cheekpieces did the trick at Leicester where she justified support in a 7-runner juvenile event in November. Bounced back from 2 lesser efforts when second to a thriving sort at Plumpton a week ago. Good shout from same mark.
Poor form over hurdles in autumn 2021 and hard to get too excited by his Flat efforts, albeit he may have needed the outing at Newcastle on his recent return from 6 months off.
Won 3 low-level handicaps in a productive 2021/22 campaign but ran no sort of race on last month's return to action at Musselburgh.
Ex-French chase winner who showed nothing in 2021/22 for Sam Holdsworth. Off 11 months but worth a precautionary market check for new connections with fully-fledged rider on.

PADDY'S FANCY went down only to one ahead of its mark at Plumpton last Monday and can go one better if showing up here in similar form. In a contest where few arrive with compelling claims the main opposition may be provided by Hashtag Lord and Silkstone.
