12/1

£3,000 3-y-o, Telescope gelding. Half-brother to fair hurdler The Premier Celtic, stays 2¾m, and bumper winner Tiffany Rose. Hooded for debut and displayed some ability despite failing to achieve a great deal in form terms at Ludlow last month.

Cloud Dancer⁴⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-0| J: N F Houlihan⁽³⁾| T: G & J Moore

6/4

Stiff task when tried in a listed bumper at Cheltenham on debut and he was too green. Significant that he was tried at that level straight away and this will reveal a lot more now hurdling.

Form: 7

The Flying Fig²¹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-0| J: Harry Kimber⁽³⁾| T: R Walford

25/1

Scorpion gelding. Dam (h107) 23f/3m hurdle winner. Failed to take to hurdling on first attempt 3 weeks ago.

Form: U

Imperial Jade³⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: Aidan Coleman| T: C E Longsdon| OR: 88

10/3

Offered something to work on when third in a bumper in November but hasn't really built on that over hurdles despite occupying same position each time.

Form: 333

Jina⁶¹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: N de Boinville| T: N J Henderson| BF

15/8

£16,000 3-y-o, Wings of Eagles filly. Dam, fair French hurdler, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/smart chaser (2m-21f winner) Jim and useful French hurdler/fairly useful 19f chase winner Mesange Royale. Sent off a short price but was eased off on debut in December. In top hands, at least.

Form: P

Tintintin⁷⁷

Weight: 11-7| Age: 4

T: F O'Brien J: P J Brennan

Forecasts

Tintintin (11/8), Cloud Dancer (6/4), Jina (15/8), Imperial Jade (10/3), Amalfi Skyline (12/1), The Flying Fig (25/1)

TINTINTIN did very little wrong when runner-up to a subsequent winner under a penalty at Huntingdon in December and he's very much the percentage call. Cloud Dancer was evidently showing plenty at home given he was gambled on pitched into a listed bumper on debut and he could be a different proposition this time. Jina is also considered despite a disappointing first effort.
