Second in a Tramore bumper and given a considerate return for new yard when fourth at Hereford in November. He's not ruled out now hurdling but market can prove a good guide.

Useful 10f winner on Flat last summer. Didn't display much aptitude for hurdling at Kempton in December but he has the potential to do better for his shrewd yard.

Verdict

The market could prove revealing but the vote goes to Chris Gordon's fair bumper winner DIAMOND EGG who is taken to bounce back in style having got no further than the first on his hurdling bow at Plumpton. Nicky Henderson's Boom Boom can have a big say if a recent wind operation gets him back on track, while hurdling-newcomer Aristobulus merits plenty of respect too given his fair winning form on the level.
