Scottish Champion Hurdle winner in 2021 prior to an excellent second in Galway Hurdle later that summer. Seen only 5 times since, no impact in the Elite Hurdle and now goes up in trip returned to handicap company.
Doubled hurdles tally in fine style at Kilbeggan (17f) in May but not in anything like the same form when pulled up next 3 starts for Joseph O'Brien during the summer. Continued that theme starting out for new yard over C&D a month ago.
Useful hurdler/chaser in Ireland for Joseph O'Brien but absent for nearly 2 years. Understandably given a considerate ride on stable debut at Cheltenham 3 weeks ago and this will reveal more.
Three-time winner last term and opened account for this campaign at Huntingdon in November (2m). Nothing wrong a with a brace of in-frame efforts since and looks worth a go at this trip.
Very progressive over hurdles last season, completing a hat-trick in the mud in this race 12 months ago. Excellent return when second here in October but has followed that with a pair of lesser efforts. Hood goes on for first time.
Progressive, 3-time winner over hurdles during 2021/22 and has found only one too good on 3 occasions since. Shaped better than end result would suggests over C&D a month ago.
Flat/hurdles winner for Nicky Henderson and needed just 3 outings to get off the mark for current connections at Kempton (2m) on Friday. Step up in trip isn't bound to suit but she's unpenalised for that.
Three-time winner as a juvenile and, having slipped to a handy mark, he finally cashed in over C&D 11 days ago, driven out. Effectively 4 lb higher but that won't prevent a very bold follow-up bid.

Forecasts
Progressive (10/3), Front View (4/1), Pyramid Place (5/1), Findthetime (11/2), Impulsive One (6/1), Foster'sisland (13/2), Milkwood (15/2), Celestial Horizon (80/1)
This has an open feel to it with IMPULSIVE ONE just about the most persuasive option with this trip expected to suit. Progressive, a former stablemate of the selection, goes unpenalised for last week's win but dominating over 2m looks his ideal scenario, so Pyramid Place, a recent C&D winner, is feared most.
