Showed improved form when off the mark in 16-runner conditional jockeys novice handicap hurdle at Hereford (19.7f) early last month but disappointed at odds-on at Sedgefield when attempting to quickly follow up. 8 lb higher mark now but holds frame claims.
Runner-up sole start in points. Mid-field at best in novice/maiden hurdles but has always done his best work late and very much could take a step forward now handicapping.
Has already completed a hat-trick in 2023, scoring over C&D for his second win before improving again to land 8-runner handicap hurdle at Market Rasen (20.6f, good) 4 days ago. Highly progressive sort who still looks some way ahead of the handicapper and he sets a high standard.
Fair form when in the frame on all 3 bumpers last season but again failed to make an impression when ninth of 16 in novice hurdle at Chepstow (16f, soft) 34 days ago. Steps up in trip for handicap debut and isn't written off given the ability shown last term.
Fair Irish bumper winner but has been soundly beaten in 4 starts over hurdles for this yard. Cheekpieces applied for handicap debut and improvement is required.
Respectable fourth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Worcester (20f, good to soft, 9/2) 115 days ago. First run for yard after leaving Jonjo O'Neill. May prove better over longer trips.
Fair in bumpers but is yet to show any ability over hurdles, showing no benefit for application of hood when ninth of 12 in novice hurdle at Ascot (19.3f, good to soft, 250/1) 85 days ago. Best watched on handicap debut.
Won Stratford selling handicap in September and has been runner-up on 3 occasions since, though was in process of running below form when falling at Wincanton (19.8f, good to soft) 9 days ago. Others make more appeal.
Produced one of his better efforts when 8¼ lengths third of 13 to Barrier Peaks in handicap hurdle (16/1) at this C&D (soft) 14 days ago. Tongue strap on 1st time. Could make frame again if arriving in same mood.

Forecasts
Barrier Peaks (5/4), Money For Jam (5/1), Mount South (11/2), Maillot Blanc (15/2), Puddlesinthepark (10/1), Gale Force One (14/1), Baliyad (16/1), Moscow Spy (18/1), Imperial Lord (20/1), The Bandit (66/1)
BARRIER PEAKS is thoroughly progressive and shouldn't have too much trouble in bringing up the 4-timer here. Puddlesinthepark appeals as the type to do better now handicapping and can chase the selection home, whilst Maillot Blanc should also be in the mix if quickly bouncing back from a disappointing effort last time.
