Made a successful debut over C&D in October. Beaten only by a good prospect with plenty of gears back here since and remains open to improvement now heading into handicaps.
Dual chase winner in France early last year but hasn't offered much in a couple of handicap hurdles since joining this yard.
5-y-o who doubled hurdles tally for this yard at Huntingdon (2m) in November. Good second both outings since, latterly at Musselburgh 6 days ago. 2 lb well-in compared to his future mark. Another prominent showing likely.
Showed he retains his ability back from a long absence last spring but been off for a further 8 months ahead of this outing. Others are more obvious.
Fair form when runner-up in maidem/novice hurdles and looks on a worakble mark for this switch to handicap company. High on the shortlist.
Fair hurdler who made a successful switch to chasing here in November. Shaped as if still in good form when sixth of 14 back hurdling at Wetherby (2m, good to soft) over Christmas. Likely to be competitive.
Won at Stratford in June 2019 but absent for 21 months prior to a fall over C&D in May 2021 and been off for a similar length of time again. Can only be watched.
Bumper winner for Stuart Crawford in November 2020. Best effort in a light hurdle career since when 2 lengths second of 14 in handicap at Kelso (2m, heavy) last month. Brian Hughes sides with stablemate Hidalgo de L'Isle this time, though.

Forecasts
Gwennie May Boy (5/2), Rewired (11/4), Hidalgo De L'isle (10/3), Barnabas Collins (9/2), Feel The Pinch (7/1), John Betjeman (8/1), Chestnut Pete (28/1), Lookforarainbow (50/1), Imac Wood (80/1)
The horse who HIDALGO DE L'ISLE attempted to give lumps of weight to at Sedgefield last time has run well in a listed juvenile event since and Donald McCain's charge looks to be on a workable mark for this handicap debut. Like the selection, Gwennie May Boy has a very much unexposed profile and is feared most ahead of last weekend's Musselburgh runner-up Rewired.
