Improved to win at Uttoxeter in November and progressed further when landing 12-runner event at Market Rasen (20.6f, good to soft) 37 days ago, proving game. Hit with further 5 lb rise but he's a likeable type and should give another good account.

Posted best effort for some time when taking 16-runner handicap hurdle here (20.5f, heavy, 11/2) in Decemver, forging clear. 6 lb higher now but holds strong follow-up claims nonetheless.
Point winner. Needed encouragement when fourth of 15 on handicap debut at Taunton (19f, good to soft) 33 days ago but that effort represented a career best and another step forward isn't ruled out.
Beaten long way in novice hurdles, and though he showed a bit more in a pair of bumper starts, others are still preferred with opening mark looking on the stiff side.
Already on her third trainer after only 6 starts and again failed to make any impact when seventh of 11 in handicap hurdle at Taunton (16.5f, soft, 14/1) 23 days ago. Back up in trip. Uphill task.
Poor form when fourth in maiden/novice hurdles back in March but has potential as an unexposed sort from a leading stable now switching to handicap company on his reappearance.
Remains a maiden after 17 starts but held his form well when reaching the frame on 5 of 6 outings in 2021/22, creditable second at Newcastle (16.2f) on latest. First run since leaving Jennie Candlish.
Veteran who gained sole British win at Hexham in 2020. Ended last season with a couple of respectable efforts but he essentially looks vulnerable from a win perspective.

Forecasts
Gerolamo Cardano (5/4), Accidental Legend (13/8), Royal Sam (13/2), Fortune Cookie (11/1), Marty Time (16/1), Yellow Jacket (22/1), Click And Collect (80/1), Kilcaragh Boy (100/1)
GEROLAMO CARDANO has dropped a long way in the weights since his novice days but regained winning ways here last time and he retains scope to climb higher again from this sort of mark. The hat-trick seeking Accidental Legend is most feared ahead of the Milton Harris handicap-debutant Royal Sam.
