Choral Work⁶⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 12-0| J: S Bowen| T: O Murphy| OR: 105

3/1

Built on promising hurdling debut (for Ellmarie Holden) when scoring in novice at Taunton (16.5f) in February. Runner-up next 2 starts and following a low-key start to life in handicaps, she showed more when second at Leicester in November. That form isn't something to be getting carried away with.

Global Famenglory³²⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR: 103

9/4

Promise in bumpers and improved on opening hurdles display when finding only a useful prospect too strong at Doncaster (16.5f) in November 2021. Better than result when last seen in March and this mark looks workable on return for top yard.

Form: 76/2246-

Rock Of Fame⁵⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-8| J: Shane Quinlan⁽³⁾| T: Miss V Williams| OR: 99

9/1

Fair maiden on the Flat and similar level over hurdles. Back to form when second in a handicap at Ludlow in November but unable to build on that at Southwell soon after.

Form: 372-825

Porter In The Park³⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: Miss E C Lavelle| OR: 96

11/2

€85,000 purchase after winning an Irish point in April. Reportedly suffered from post-race ataxia on debut and while she showed a bit more twice last month, this mark demands more.

Form: 21-P32

Kentford Mallard^p²¹

Age: 10| Weight: 11-4| J: M G Nolan| T: J W Mullins| OR: 95| D

15/2

Held her form well in the spring/summer last year and overcame a few wayward leaps to score at Southwell (3m) in June. Respectable fourth at Taunton 21 days ago on what was effectively her first run for 6 months (unseated rider start at Exeter on New Year's Day). Not discounted.

Form: 2415U4

Innisfree Lass⁴¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-1| J: C Gethings| T: S Edmunds| OR: 92

11/2

Modest form in her qualifying runs at up to 21.3f but handicaps are more suitable.

Form: 6706

She's So Lovely⁴⁵⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 10-13| J: Bridget Andrews| T: D Skelton| OR: 90

14/1

Runner-up in a point. Didn't achieve much in 3 novice hurdles for new yard this autumn but this trip will suit and she has a low mark for her top yard to exploit.

Form: 42/545-

Non-Runners

Forecasts

Global Famenglory (9/4), Choral Work (3/1), Porter In The Park (11/2), Innisfree Lass (11/2), Kentford Mallard (15/2), Rock Of Fame (9/1), Getbazoutofhere (10/1), She's So Lovely (14/1)

GLOBAL FAMENGLORY's fitness isn't really a concern on return from 10 months off given the yard she represents and this mark ought to be within range. Choral Work's runner-up effort at Leicester isn't a strong piece of form but she still warrants consideration, with She's So Lovely, a stablemate of the selection, needs a check in the market.
