8/13

Multiple winner over fences but been some time since he last scored. Down in the weights and offered more when third over 19.4f at Wetherby on Boxing Day and he should be a factor at this level for all this is his first hurdles start since 2018.

King Alexander⁵⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: N de Boinville| T: N J Henderson

2/1

Impressive start to his career when landing a 2m Warwick bumper (good) in September. With that in mind, he's been a little disappointing over hurdles so far but he's in top hands and it's still early days.

Form: 126

Major Fortune^t1⁷⁰

15/2

Placed both starts in bumpers but ran no sort of race on November's hurdles bow and now goes up in trip with a tongue tie on having had a breathing op.

Forecasts

Amoola Gold (8/13), King Alexander (2/1), Windtothelightning (11/4), Major Fortune (15/2), City Roller (12/1)

Having not raced over hurdles since 2018, it's hard to know what AMOOLA GOLD is capable of over these obstacles, but given his chase form more recently, he really should be a big factor. Windtothelightning is a huge threat if taking up this engagement, with King Alexander surely capable of better.
