18/1, down the field on heavy-ground Warwick debut on New Year's Eve. Cheekpieces added now. Will need to improve significantly.
Made a positive start when runner-up at Worcester on debut. Failed to back it up at Ludlow a couple of months ago but the break should have done him good.
Impressive winner on sole start in points and not disgraced when third at Bangor on Rules debut 3 months ago. One to consider.
€65,000 3-y-o, No Risk At All gelding. Dam, maiden over jumps in France, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/smart chaser (stayed 3m) Pablo du Charmil. Of obvious interest on debut.
€105,000 3-y-o, Shirocco gelding. Half-brother to useful hurdler Oscar Elite. Interesting newcomer. Wears tongue strap.
£60,000 4-y-o, Mahler gelding. Dam (c124/h113) 17f-21f hurdle/chase winner (stayed 3m). Last of 3 finishers sole outing in Irish points (Nov 27). Others make more appeal.
€42,000 3-y-o, Mahler gelding. Half-brother to useful bumper winner Ernest Gray. Dam (c147/h133) 2m-21f hurdle/chase winner. One to take seriously on debut.
€52,000 3-y-o, £235,000 4-y-o, Getaway mare. Won sole start in Irish points (Oct 21). Makes plenty of appeal on Rules debut.
Showed some ability at Ffos Las on debut, looking a stayer, and he can make his presence felt with improvement anticipated.
Bred for the Flat and hinted at ability when mid-field at Huntingdon a couple of months ago. Needs marked improvement to feature, though.

Forecasts
Smiling Getaway (3/1), Cawthorne Banker (16/5), Doc McCoy (5/1), Newton (11/2), Tregele (7/1), Norman Fletcher (8/1), Redbridge Rambler (16/1), Nitwit (16/1), War Bonnet (66/1), Geordie Night (66/1), Artistic Fighter (150/1)
SMILING GETAWAY was impressive when winning a point and, having been picked up for a good deal of money since, he's worth chancing to make a winning Rules debut. Cawthorne Banker is an obvious danger if he can return to the form he showed first time out and Tregele is a notable newcomer for a yard that does well in this sphere.
