Progressive a few seasons back but he didn't show much when returning from an absence of over 2 years here on New Year's Eve.
Winner of a C&D maiden for Dan Skelton last season and though largely disappointing since, his latest effort when mid-field in a 2m Wetherby handicap represented a step back in the right direction. Eased 4 lb and claims if able to build on that.
Ran up to best when second of 7 in claiming hurdle at Compiegne (18.9f) when last seen in November. Since joined David Pipe and needs checking in market on UK/handicap debut. Wears tongue strap.
Successful in this sphere at Stratford in October and over fences at Market Rasen in December. Shaped as though this drop back in trip wouldn't be a bad thing when third in a first-time tongue strap (discarded here) at Hereford (19.7f) last time but now 4 lb higher in the weights.
Modest performer for Ross O'Sullivan in Ireland, absent since finishing fifth of 14 on debut over fences at Downpatrick last spring. Limited appeal back hurdling for new yard.
Fairly useful bumper winner who has been brought along steadily over hurdles, third of 14 in a Southwell maiden (15.8f) when last seen in November. One to consider now going handicapping with better to come on the back of a wind op.
Back to form out of the blue when getting off the mark in a 2m Southwell handicap on penultimate start, despite swerving badly right at the start. However, his subsequent display over this C&D left much to be desired.
Lost his way in Ireland and no sign of a revival in 2 chases for this yard in the autumn. Looks set for another struggle returned to hurdles.
Struggled last season and pulled up both starts since returning to action in November.
Little impact for Jeremy Scott last season and while he showed more spark starting out for this yard on return at Taunton, he looks up against it here from 8 lb out of the handicap.

Bobby Socks (9/4), Cousu Main (11/4), Fazayte (4/1), Yeomen Warder (4/1), Elmount (8/1), Royal Mer (11/1), Christopher Clive (16/1), Rob Royal (20/1), Razzo Italiano (22/1), The Wire Flyer (40/1), Charlie Siringo (100/1)
BOBBY SOCKS appears to have been brought along steadily with handicaps in mind and, now pitched into one off what could prove to be a very fair opening mark, he looks the way to go. Yeomen Warder is another likely improver now handicapping and needs a close look in the betting but a bigger threat may be posed by Cousu Main, who produced much his best effort since joining this yard at Wetherby last time. French-import Royal Mer is also shortlisted.
