Smart chaser who, having reportedly scoped dirty at Cheltenham in November, gained the biggest success of his career in gutsy fashion at Wetherby the following month. Can give another good account.

Made it a perfect 5 wins from 5 starts over fences when successful in 5-runner handicap at this course (19.4f) in November, closed down only late on. Will face a tougher task now upped in grade, but respected given his unbeaten record.

Won at Cheltenham and the Hurst Park Handicap Chase at Ascot first 2 starts in 2021/22. Stepped up on return this season when third in the corresponding race at Ascot, though didn't find as much as had looked likely. Back down to last winning mark.

Ended last season with back-to-back wins and showed the benefit of his reappearance when resuming winning ways at this C&D in December. Had plenty in hand when adding another success to his tally at Sandown 20 days ago, so he's not one to take lightly.

Useful novice hurdler who subsequently developed into a high-class chaser. However, failed to shine in a handful of runs for Paul Nicholls and down the field over hurdles in his 2 starts since rejoining Harry Whittington. Enough to prove back chasing.

Useful 2m winner over hurdles but hasn't matched that level in 3 starts over fences so far, going the wrong way since finishing second of 4 in a Warwick novice (2m4f) in November. Needs a wind op to help him get back on track.

Started 2022 with a pair of 2m wins at Hereford but didn't go on as hoped on his following 2 starts. However, shaped as if retaining his ability after 6 months off when fourth of 9 at Ludlow in December. Needs to build on his latest effort.

Fairly useful hurdler who has quickly made up into a better chaser, winning both of his starts over fences with plenty in hand. Travelled powerfully when scoring in novice at Hereford last time and he can complete the hat-trick.

Fairly useful hurdles/chase winner in Ireland and won his first race for current connections in handicap chase at Kelso (17.1f) on return. Followed up at the same C&D before a creditable fourth at Cheltenham in November. Ran poorly last time, though.
