Useful form at best last year (third in Eider Chase at Newcastle) and all the better for reappearance run when second at Carlisle (26f) in October. However, last 2 starts have been below par.

Enjoyed a productive 2021/22 campaign, gaining his third win and his first away from Plumpton in 3 seasons at Fontwell (26f) in April. Back to best when scoring at Sandown last month and left with a lot to do back here latest. Player.

Not the force of old but ran better than for a while from a slipping mark on second start for this yard at Catterick last time, beaten only by one who's on a roll. Big shout back against the veterans.

Scored at Fakenham in December but well held last 3 starts, including on return.

Successful over C&D in December 2020 and though absent since misfiring at that course a few months later, he resumes on a winning mark and it'll be interesting to see what the market has to say.

Capitalised on easing mark to score over C&D 12 months ago and, having possibly needed run when pulled up on return, he was still disputing the lead when falling ninth at Wincanton (25f) on Boxing Day. Blinkers again the headgear of choice.

Opened chase account in good style at Southwell last term and good runner-up efforts 2 of 3 starts this season. Enters calculations.

Defied a long absence when making a winning yard debut at Ffos Las (23.8f) in November. Consistency never been his strong suit, though, and he's not scaled same heights either outing since. Headgear back on.
