6/1

Veteran staying chaser who is a 5-time course winner who landed this race 12 months ago from a 3 lb higher mark. Well below his best in couple of starts around here so far this winter, pulled up in Borders National latest but bounce back not entirely ruled out.

Age: 8| Weight: 11-9| J: B S Hughes| T: Mrs A Hamilton| OR: 135| CD

6/1

Much-improved last season, completing 4-timer over C&D in April. Another who arrives on the back of a couple of well below par displays back in the autumn so subsequent break needs to have had positive effect ahead of this.

7/2

Chase/hurdles winner who hit the frame on each of his last 2 starts in this sphere, mistakes creeping in as he tired when runner-up at Musselburgh (23.7f) 12 months ago. Has been absent since so interesting what the market makes of him here.

4/5

Back-to-back winner at upto 3m this time last year and he's returned in good form, again displaying a likeable attitude when runner-up at Newcastle (20f) 3 weeks ago. Has to be worth a look in this groove despite operating 2 lb out of the weights.

Form: 1124-22

Forecasts

Just Don't Know (4/5), Elvis Mail (3/1), First Account (7/2), Bavington Bob (6/1), Big River (6/1)

A dual winner this time last year, JUST DON'T KNOW has returned in good order, again displaying a likeable attitude and finding only one too good over shorter at Newcastle 3 weeks ago. He earns the vote returned to this longer trip, with Elvis Mail and Bavington Bob next best.
