Fair winning chaser in France. Absent for 13 months ahead of this hunter debut for new connections. Could play a part if ready to roll.
Very useful in his prime. Below form for Jim Dreaper when last seen in the spring but no surprise were he capable of making an impact at this level.
Useful winning chaser for Paul Nicholls in 2020/21 season. Fit from a point run last month (finished third). Major player.
Useful hurdler/chaser at his peak. Won then second in hunters at Newton Abbot back in May. Claims if ready to roll after 7 months off.
Ready winner of a 21f Cartmel maiden hunter in May. Also comfortably landed 2 points on his return to action in November. Probably the one to beat.
Second in a Ludlow hunter for Nicky Henderson last January. Disappointed in 2 subsequent starts last season and has changed stables ahead of this reappearance.
Long-standing maiden pointer and pulled up in 2 hunters back in 2021. Big outsider.
Smart chaser in prime. Nothing like so good lately (left Noel Meade after finishing well held over hurdles in July) but he's joined a good stable and this is an easier assignment. Needs considering.
Handicap hurdle winner Philip Hobbs. Has won 2 of his 5 point starts for current connections, including on his return to action in Decmeber. Hunter debut.

Forecasts
Envious Editor (11/8), Tout Est Permis (9/4), Singapore Saga (15/2), My Way (8/1), Another Venture (12/1), Mitchouka (14/1), Drop Flight (18/1), Wotzizname (25/1), Jimmy Tew (150/1)
ENVIOUS EDITOR has easily landed a Cartmel hunter and 2 points on his last 3 outings and is taken to extend that winning run to 4. My Way was a useful chaser a couple of years back and arrives fit from a point run so he's a possible threat. Tout Est Permis was very capable earlier in his career and is another interesting contender on his hunter debut for Archie Watson.
