Useful performer at best over hurdles, winning 3 novice races in 2020/21 (including at this C&D). Not quite so good over fences, but one of better efforts shen second in a Uttoxeter handicap on return. On a dangerous mark as she reverts to hurdling.

C&D winner who, after being tried on the Flat early last year, also scored in mares handicap at Warwick in September for Nicky Henderson. Not discredited on stable debut when fourth of 5 at Southwell in December. Needs to build on latest effort.
Wide-margin winner of a mares hurdle at Cagnes-sur-Mer a year ago, but not at the same level in 3 starts over fences, unseating on latest outing in April. Interesting back hurdling on first run since leaving Hugo Merienne.
Won 5 handicap hurdles over 2m last season and has been holding her form well during the current campaign, unsuited by emphasis on speed when third of 5 at Southwell last time. Can give her running once again.
Made a winning debut in mares novice hurdle at Wetherby in February, but didn't advance her form when placed on her next 3 starts. After 8 months, looked rusty when fourth of 7 on handicap bow at Sedgefield in December. Remains early days.
Successful only outing on Flat and fairly useful form over jumps in France in 2020/21. Failed to come on for British/stable debut when pulled up on handicap bow at Exeter a year ago, but could well do better having had wind op ahead of her return.
Bumper winner who has gone the wrong way since promising second on hurdles debut at Exeter in November 2021. Having left Nicky Henderson/been off 10 months, pulled up at this course (23.6f) in October. Has enough to prove back at 2m in 1st-time hood.
Modest form over hurdles so far, not looking straightforward when runner-up on handicap debut at Doncaster in March last year. Let down by jumping when mid-field at Haydock the following month, but could yet have more to offer after 8 months off.
Fair Flat winner in France who opened account over hurdles in mares handicap at Kempton in February last year. Placed the next twice, and probably needed the run after 7 months off when well held last time. Could be closer to form this time.
Plenty of solid efforts without success this term but turned in a rare poor effort back over fences here (23.6f) in November. Significantly back down in trip as returns to hurdling with cheekpieces back on. May just find others better treated.

Forecasts
Galice Macalo (3/1), Sarceaux (5/1), Heva Rose (11/2), Minelladestination (7/1), Getbazoutofhere (8/1), Grasse D'oliverie (9/1), Pillar Of Steel (11/1), Progressive (14/1), Astra Via (14/1), Mind Sunday (25/1)
Useful at her best over hurdles, GALICE MACALO wasn't able to match that level over fences but she is now on a good mark as she reverts to the smaller obstacles. With her last success coming at this C&D, the 7-y-o can return to winning ways with her yard going well. Grasse d'Oliverie is feared most on her British/stable debut, ahead of Heva Rose.
