Hurdling debutantes ARCLIGHT and Pretending, both of whom showed plenty of ability on the Flat for Sir Mark Prescott, could be the pair to concentrate on. Preference is for Arclight, who has joined the Nicky Henderson yard (saddled the winner of this race in 2020) and her latest effort in a Class 2 Newmarket handicap represented her best yet. Lady Valentine and Greyval are other interesting Flat recruits, while Chicago Gal and Eclairant Le Monde have already shown an aptitude for this game.
