Successful at Southwell in May but form has dipped pretty badly on his last 3 starts (over fences last time) and he's passed over on these terms.
Sprung a 40/1 shock when landing a C&D handicap in February. Has failed to reproduce that level of form in 3 subsequent starts but needs considering now down in class, for all that he's not favoured by the weights.
Hereford maiden winner in March 2021 and runner-up on each of his next 4 starts. Below par on chase debut when last in September of that year but resumes for new yard at a realistic level and he needs considering.
Fairly useful handicapper on Flat (stays 1½m), winner at Windsor in June but dropped away quickly next 2 starts. Bled when well held on hurdles debut for this yard at Sedgefield last time.
Back to form third of 10 in handicap chase at Kilbeggan (19f, good) in September on final start for Gordon Elliott. Ran poorly on debut for new yard at Stratford but he's 2-5 in this sphere and is clearly the one to beat on the terms.
Flat winnner who opened his account in this sphere at Perth last September. Hasn't fired in 4 subsequent starts in this sphere, though, and offered little tried over fences last time. Cheekpieces refitted.
Fairly useful hurdler/chaser in France but well held all starts for this yard over the last year, including when returned to this sphere at Taunton last week.

Forecasts
Turning Gold (13/8), Ambassador (7/2), Marajman (4/1), Master Blaze (7/1), Fancy Foundations (17/2), Enthused (20/1), Go Fox (28/1)
It could be worth taking a chance that all is well with AMBASSADOR following a 16-month absence, as he will surely go close if able to reproduce something akin to the form he showed in novice hurdles for Dan Skelton last year. Fancy Foundations is clearly the one to beat on these terms and he has to be feared, while Turning Gold, who scored over C&D in February, is also in with a shout.
