Pertemps Network Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Fair Flat winner who got off the mark at just the second time of asking in this sphere in 8-runner maiden at Sedgefield (16.8f, soft) 26 days ago, comfortably. May do better still.

Showed ability in a hot maiden hurdle at Chepstow on Rules debut and made the most of a good opportunity at Uttoxeter next time. More needed under a penalty but should be competitive.

Walk In The Park gelding who stepped forward on previous efforts when landing a C&D novice 27 days ago, rallying to regain lead final 50 yds. Will go on improving.

Fame And Glory gelding. Closely related to fairly useful hurdler/chaser Marquis of Carabas, stayed 3¼m. Successful on sole start in Irish points and won 14-runner maiden hurdle at Southwell (15.8f, good to soft) on Rules debut 29 days ago, staying on well. Seems sure to progress.

Pulled up both starts between the flags and looks a handicap project over hurdles.

Made the frame in 3 Irish points but looks more one for handicaps on early evidence under Rules.

Kayf Tara gelding who displayed plenty of ability in a pair of bumpers and shaped encouragingly sent hurdling when third over C&D 3 weeks ago, closing all the way to line. Sure to improve.

Fairly useful in bumpers for Johnny C. Hurley and produced a promising first effort in this sphere when second (Cuthbert Dibble 3rd) in 11-runner C&D maiden hurdle 21 days ago. Open to improvement.

Considerate introduction when fifth of 11 in novice hurdle at this C&D (soft) on NH debut 21 days ago. One for later.

Showed more than first time up when 18½ lengths third of 14 to Clonakilty in novice hurdle at Uttoxeter (15.8f, soft) 22 days ago but will be of more interest in handicaps in due course.

Landed a few bets when successful in a bumper at Killarney for Eoin Christopher McCarthy in May but has been well held both starts over hurdles.

Hinted at ability on his sole outing in bumpers and left his hurdling debut form behind when second over C&D 44 days ago, just failing. This a stronger race, though.

Fairly useful handicapper on Flat but beaten a long way on his last 2 outings in that sphere and was in need of the experience on his Haydock hurdling debut 4 weeks ago.
