Fair bumper performer who easily made a winning start over hurdlesat Hexham before running with credit under a penalty at the same course. Off 7 months and has left Sandy Forster.
Smart Flat winner who has shaped with encouragement in a couple of novice hurdles and looks capable of better having his first go in handicaps, so he's well worth chancing.
Fair winning hurdler who wasn't discredited when third at Hexham last time. Others look better treated, however.
Fairly useful on the Flat for Mick Channon. Just fair form over hurdles to date but upped his game when second in a Sandown handicap last time and can't be discounted.
Promising novice hurdler who signed off for last term with stylish win in a C&D maiden in March. Underwhelming start over fences but remains with potential back in this sphere.
Fair hurdler who made a successful switch to chasing at Bangor a month ago and merits respect off only 2 lb higher back hurdling.
Stepped up on his 2 runs in bumpers when second of 6 in novice hurdle at Ayr (16f, soft) on hurdles debut and more improvement when off the mark at Kelso last time. Interesting handicap debutant.
On the up when winning a pair of 2m handicaps in autumn 2020. Missed the following season but, having shaped as if in need of reappearance, showed he retains ability when third at Kelso last time.
All downhill since he landed a Uttoxeter maiden last year and others make more appeal.
Has been a consistent performer over hurdles and got off the mark in refitted cheekpieces in 7-runner handicap at Leicester (15.5f) 29 days ago. Up 6 lb but still not taken lightly with headgear retained.
Relished the return to Market Rasen when scoring easily last month but he's seemingly not quite as effective at others tracks, so others are preferred.
Fairly useful Flat winner in Ireland for Jim Bolger and progressing fast over hurdles, off the mark in emphatic fashion at Southwell last month. One to consider switched to handicaps.
Has hinted at ability in bumpers/over hurdles and hard to rule out improvement now switched to handicaps. The assessor has taken no chances with opening mark, however.
Seven-time winner on the Flat and fair form in a couple of maiden hurdles last season. However, he ran no sort of a race on return in a Catterick novice and while this switch to handicap company is no bad thing, others make more appeal.

BRENTFORD HOPE has shown aptitude for hurdling and his smart Flat form gives him scope for improvement on this handicap debut, so he's preferred to I Have A Voice, who opened his account at the third attempt in this sphere last time. Chapel Green and stablemate Netywell are also worthy of a mention.
