Useful 1m Flat winner at his best and he made quite a promising start over hurdles when fourth at Huntingdon (2m) 17 days ago. That Flat ability provides plenty of hope that he can build on that.

Point/bumper winner BOLD REACTION is likely to build on his Sandown hurdle debut third and is preferred to Kenzai Warrior, who showed enough to think he can translate his Flat ability to hurdles when fourth at Huntingdon recently, and Philip Hobbs's Lingfield runner-up High Game Royal. Holetown Hero would also enter the reckoning if turning out (due to run at Plumpton on Tuesday).
