Winner of two of his first three starts over fences but standards slipped a tad in small fields during first half of 2022. Back from a break and is on his last successful mark.

Winning pointer who took well to fences on his return from an absence last season, winning a 25f Hereford handicap under Lily Pinchin in April. Shaped as though in need of the run on October's reappearance and better expected this time.

Runner-up 4 times this season but he often looks hard work and his jumping also left a bit to be desired at Doncaster 11 days ago. Cheekpieces added.

Eased in weights and confirmed more positive signs to end losing run at Worcester (23f) in October. Bounced back quickly from a lesser run at Ffos Las when second to Born At Midnight at Taunton 4 weeks ago. Likely to go well.

Kept very busy and predictably in and out in terms of performances. This more suitable than the Sefton at Aintree a month ago.

Improved from out of the blue when runner-up over hurdles at Chepstow (19.5f, good) last March. Only one good effort from 4 starts over fences last winter and off 10 months.

Finally got his head in front when successful in handicap chase at Huntingdon in March and followed up back there 8 days later. Run of good form halted at the same course when last seen in April. Entitled to need this.

Justified strong market support when gaining breakthrough success back over fences in first-time cheekpieces at Market Rasen (19.2f) a year ago. Best effort yet when runner-up over 25f on return and that opens up further options regarding trip. Cheekpieces back on from just out of the weights.
