Landed a 3-y-o hurdle on debut in France in spring 2021. Little impact in 2 runs for current yard 8 months apart and might need further as well as some help from the handicapper.

Just fair form over hurdles at around 2m in Ireland. Could do better for new yard after 7 months off and one to keep an eye on in the betting.
Fairly useful at best on the Flat. Won a pair of 2m novice hurdles earlier this year but has struggled in handicaps the last twice, albeit they were very competitive races. Down another 4 lb.
All downhill since he landed a division of the C&D maiden on this card last year, taking a keen hold here last time. Could only be fancied if the market suggests likewise.
Ended last season with 2 good runs at Market Rasen (18.6f), getting off the mark on the first occasion. Disappointing when last seen in May though and has since left Philip Hobbs/had a breathing op. Remains on a workable mark.
Successful off an 8 lb higher mark over hurdles at Warwick 13 months ago and good runs in handicaps there this autumn before another tame display over fences 12 days ago. Bit more needed.
Won an unsatisfactory renewal of this race on return last year from 5 lb higher mark. Promising conditional up and no surprise to see him go well again first time back.
Well backed and has found just one too good in handicaps the last twice for new yard, beaten only by one a lot less exposed and very well handicapped on Flat form over C&D 24 days ago. Got to be respected.

Forecasts
Tanganyika (11/4), Opening Bid (7/2), Begin The Luck (7/2), Gold Emery (7/2), Fiston De Becon (4/1), Kracka Nut (7/1), Ben Brody (8/1), Toronto (14/1), Pillar Of Steel (14/1), Cousu Main (20/1), Forever Des Long (40/1)
GOLD EMERY could be a class above these and is fancied to make a successful return having won well on his hurdles debut back in February. Last year's winner Ben Brody is in contention again, while Fiston de Becon and Begin The Luck are also in the mix.
