13/2

Off the mark at third attempt in bumpers and relished step up to 2¾m when making a winning hurdles debut at Stratford in May. Shade disappointing he could manage only second under a penalty a month later but he retains potential as a handicapper. Back in trip.

Form: 2/P8P-33

Non-Runners

Lupus Regem²⁷

Weight: 12-1| Age: 6

Forecasts

Mark Of Gold (13/8), Lupus Regem (9/4), Breaking Waves (7/2), Has Troke (5/1), Give Me A Cuddle (13/2), Small Bad Bob (17/2), Kenny George (9/1), Noah's Light (66/1)

LUPUS REGEM was demoted having displayed improved form to finish first past the post on reappearance/handicap debut at Uttoxeter and compensation may well be forthcoming here. This is a big drop down in class for Mark of Gold and he is a threat, along with Give Me A Cuddle.
