Useful handicap hurdler who spent last season over fences, winning 2 from 5 starts. Finished last of 3 finishers at Fontwell in March but returns over timber on a workable mark and can feature here for his top yard on a track that suits well.
French import who was last seen finishing third in an Auteuil Grade 1 a year ago, subsequently joining a yard in top form with a track record in improving such horses. Returns to the track without usual headgear but needs respect.
Strong travelling mare who took the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham and finished a credible second in the Fairyhouse equivalent in April. Course winner who makes her handicap debut back down in trip off a fair looking mark and sets the standard.
Has been making up for lost time with a second success in three starts since returning from a long lay-off, sprinting clear at Bangor 3 weeks ago (9 runner handicap hurdle, 7/2). Back down in trip on better ground today but likely to give another bold show.
Picked up where he'd left off last season for his up-and-coming yard when quickening clear at Wetherby 3 weeks ago (16f, good). Further progress can't be ruled out in this more competitive race.
Juvenile hurdle winner in France who defied an absence of 3 years to make a winning yard/handicap debut at Wetherby in March. Should go well if coming on for reappearance when 19¼ lengths fourth of 6 to Sonigino in 2m Chepstow handicap in October.
Earned first victory for this yard in June but has been out of form since, still someway below his best at Kempton (when fourth of 6, 16f) 12 days ago. Now on last winning mark but this is much more competitive so easy to look past.
Looked a horse to follow this time last year but has underwhelmed subsequently. Seemingly needed the run on seasonal reappearance at Worcester (10/1, 20f) in October, but did give encouragement he could regain the winning thread again this term. Each-way chance in first-time cheekpieces.
Back to last winning mark and was in the process of running well as even money favourite when fell 3 out at Leicester last month. Cheekpieces return but likely to find this much too competitive.
