Arctic Saint^t1

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: David Bass| T: K Bailey & M NichollsWS

3/1

Calisson

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: J E Moore| T: J L Spearing

100/1

Califet gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including fair hurdler Pillar of Steel and poor hurdler Shutthegate. Dam (h96) 2m hurdle winner.

Form:

Cawthorne Banker⁵⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: J & A O'Neill

3/1

Related to a bumper winner and made a positive start when runner-up at Worcester on debut. Sets a high standard and might well do better, so should take the beating.

Form: 2

Commanding View²⁰⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: Alex Edwards⁽³⁾| T: Mrs M Rowley

22/1

Half-brother to a bumper winner and showed some promise when third at Huntingdon 6 months ago. A lot more required if he's to land this, however.

Form: 3

Cumhacht^t¹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: S Bowen| T: Miss R Curtis

100/1

Second of 11 in bumper at Thurles for John Kiely on debut but both starts for this stable have been very tame.

Form: 2-97

Dunstall Rambler

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: J J Burke| T: T R George

12/1

Walk In The Park gelding. Dam, lightly-raced maiden on Flat, sister to fairly useful hurdler/top-class chaser (stayed 25f) Nacarat. Makes plenty of appeal on paper.

Form:

Gieves⁴²

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: Dylan Whelan⁽⁷⁾| T: B Pauling

66/1

Half-brother to 5 winners but there wasn't enough encouragement in his debut at Worcester to make him of any interest in this contest.

Form: 0

Hey Mister Dj

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: G Sheehan| T: A Ralph

11/1

€36,000 3-y-o, Jukebox Jury gelding. Brother to useful German/Polish 1¼m-1¾m winner Memphis and half-brother to 4 winners. Dam 1¼m/11f winner.

Form:

Industrialist

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: H D Daly

10/1

€32,000 3-y-o, Doyen gelding. Closely related to fair hurdler The Great White, stays 2¾m. Represents an in-form stable and warrants a market check.

Form:

My Monty²³⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: R T Dunne| T: S Drinkwater

66/1

Attracted support but seemed amiss at Exeter 7 months ago. Others make more appeal.

Form: 8-

Brave Jen^t1

Age: 4| Weight: 10-9| J: N de Boinville| T: N J HendersonWS

13/2

£45,000 3-y-o, Kayf Tara filly. Sister to 2 winners, including bumper winner/fair hurdler Tearsofclewbay. Dam (h69) bumper/2m hurdle winner (stayed 2½m). One to note on debut. Wears tongue strap.

Form:

Dysart Enos²⁵⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 10-9| J: C Brace| T: F O'Brien

9/2

£95,000 4-y-o, Malinas filly. Dam (c86/h62), winning pointer, half-sister to useful hurdler/fairly useful chaser Too Scoops (winner up to 2½m). Runner-up sole outing in Irish points (Mar 20). Highly respected on debut.

Form: 2-

Flight Of Freedom

Age: 4| Weight: 10-9| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: Miss E C Lavelle

22/1

Getaway filly. Half-sister to bumper winner/fair hurdler Valentina Lady. Interesting newcomer on paper.

Form:

Rockette

Age: 4| Weight: 10-9| J: Bridget Andrews| T: D Skelton

28/1

Fascinating Rock filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including useful hurdler/chaser Zarib and modest hurdler Zinat, stays 2½m. Dam lightly raced on Flat.

Form:

She's Out Of Reach¹⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 10-9| J: Max Kendrick| T: J Coulson

250/1

Hasn't shown much on either start to date, leaving Gay Kelleway after her debut, and she's set for another struggle here.

Form: 6-8

Forecasts

Cawthorne Banker (3/1), Arctic Saint (3/1), Dysart Enos (9/2), Brave Jen (13/2), Industrialist (10/1), Hey Mister Dj (11/1), Dunstall Rambler (12/1), Flight Of Freedom (22/1), Commanding View (22/1), Rockette (28/1), Gieves (66/1), My Monty (66/1), Cumhacht (100/1), Calisson (100/1), She's Out Of Reach (250/1)

CAWTHORNE BANKER sets a good standard and is probably capable of better, so he gets the nod ahead of Brave Jen, who represents a top stable. Dysart Enos has shown ability in points and looks a major player on Rules debut.
