Course maiden hurdle winner who bagged a couple of Uttoxeter handicap chases last winter. Not at his best on last month's hurdle reappearance, though, and he'll need to step up a fair bit on that to get heavily involved here.

Racked up 5 wins in 2020/21 season but has a bit to prove following a string of below-par efforts, leaving the Fergal O'Brien yard before 20 lengths fifth at Kelso 24 days ago.

Off the mark in bumpers at the second attempt and jumped well when landing a 25f maiden at Warwick on hurdle debut in May. Runner-up in a novice at Exeter 6 months later and has potential now moving into a handicap.

Successful over 20.5f at Plumpton last November and bettered that form when awarded a 26.5f Newton Abbot handicap in August (second past post but promoted after suffering interference). Threw it away a bit by idling when narrowly denied at Hereford since. Blinkers back on after that.

Won a Uttoxeter maiden in the summer and struck at the second time of asking in handicaps at Worcester (23f, heavy) last month. A 4 lb rise doesn't look enough to stop him, particularly as he has the potential for better again.

Third sole outing in Irish points and has shown promise in 2 hurdles this autumn. Interesting contender for his very much in-form yard now making a quick switch to handicap company over a longer trip.

Won over fences at Leicester in March 2021 but failed to fire in 4 outings last season and he's running from a long way out of the handicap back hurdling on his return.

It's perhaps best to focus on the unexposed types in this line-up, with BIOWAVEGO taken to overcome a 4 lb rise for last month's Worcester success, perhaps at the expense of Dan Skelton's Snipe, who looks interesting now making a quick switch to handicaps. Warwick maiden winner Sporting Ace is another who could have more to offer now moving into handicap-company.
