Fair hurdler. 150/1, ninth of 11 in beginners chase at this C&D (soft) on debut over fences 2 weeks ago, left behind 2 out.
Fairly useful hurdler. 9/1 and tongue strap on for 1st time, unseated rider second in handicap at Fairyhouse (24.5f, good to soft). Off 7 months. Makes chase debut. Significantly down in trip.
Useful chaser. 20/1 and blinkered for 1st time, tailed off when left second last in Poplar Square Chase at Naas (16f, soft) 15 days ago. Could make his presence felt if able to bounce back.
Useful hurdler. Tenth of 14 in maiden at Galway (7f, heavy, 6/1) 27 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Switches from Flat to chase. Down in trip.
Fair hurdler. 100/1, never better than mid-field under considerate handling when sixth of 12 in beginners chase at Naas (20f, soft) 15 days ago. May well do better down the line.
Lightly-raced winner in points who looked a good prospect in making a winning start under Rules in 20-runner maiden hurdle at Navan in December 2020. Followed up a month later at Fairyhouse but not seen since and has left Gordon Elliott ahead of this chase bow.
Fairly useful hurdler. Fifth of 12 in beginners chase (66/1) at Naas (20f, soft) 15 days ago, not given at all a hard time. Should have more to offer somewhere down the line.
Very smart hurdler. 8/11, failed to meet expectations when 9½ lengths third of 11 to Santa Rossa in Grimes Hurdle at Tipperary (16f, good to soft) 5 months ago. Makes major appeal on chase debut.
Lightly-raced winner over hurdles. 5/1, respectable fourth of 27 in handicap hurdle at Leopardstown (16f, soft). Off 9 months. Makes chase debut.
Lightly-raced winner over hurdles. 7/4, creditable 2¼ lengths third of 8 to Highland Charge in Kingsfurze Novices' Hurdle at Naas (15.4f, heavy). Makes chase debut.
Fairly useful hurdler. Latest win in hurdle at Clonmel in May. 100/1, tenth of 11 in beginners chase at this C&D (soft) on debut over fences 2 weeks ago.
Promising sort. 28/1, shaped like a non-stayer when fifth of 12 in beginners chase at Fairyhouse (23.9f, heavy) on debut over fences 19 days ago. Down in trip. Should progress.
Smart juvenile hurdler last season, including Grade 2 win at Leopardstown last Christmas. Found Vauban too strong when runner-up in Grade 1 company on final 3 starts and ran creditably when runner-up on return 15 days ago. Exciting prospect sent chasing.
Useful hurdler. 3/1, shaped much better than the distance beaten suggested when seventh of 8 in beginners chase at Galway (18.5f, soft) on debut over fences 54 days ago, folding run-in. Tongue strap on for 1st time. Open to progress.
Fair hurdler. 33/1 and tongue strap on for 1st time on Flat, thirteenth of 17 in handicap at Galway (8.3f, heavy) 27 days ago. Makes chase debut.

Fil Dor (10/11), Saint Roi (7/4), Percy Warner (7/1), Gallant John Joe (14/1), Slip Of The Tongue (14/1), Iberique Du Seuil (20/1), Sea Ducor (28/1), Good Time Jonny (40/1), Gain De Cause (100/1), Better Times Ahead (100/1), The Dasher Conway (125/1), Priory Park (125/1), Huntingtown (200/1), Coolcullen (200/1), Just Jacob (200/1)
SAINT ROI and FIL DOR are a pair of talented hurdlers embarking on a chasing career and if both take to the larger obstacles this could develop into a match, with the first-named marginally preferred. Of those with experience over fences, Gallant John Joe is the pick, although he needs to put a poor run behind him.
