Dam half-sister to useful 2m hurdle winner/useful chaser (17f winner) Ned Buntline. Modest maiden on Flat and stopped in his tracks by a bad blunder on recent hurdles bow.

Fairly useful on Flat, battled well when winning 10f Newbury handicap in September. Pitched in quite deep and emerged with plenty of credit when runner-up at Cheltenham a fortnight ago. Sets good standard with prospect of more to come.

Fairly useful on Flat, stays 1½m, disappointing effort last time: sold from K. R. Burke 42,000 gns in October and possesses the raw ability to be a factor in this if taking to hurdling.

Forecasts

Perseus Way (30/100), Polyphonic (3/1), Fillyfudge (14/1), Mr Rumbalicious (40/1), Vaxholm (150/1)

Verdict

PERSEUS WAY exceeded expectations pitched in quite deep when runner-up on hurdles debut at Cheltenham and this looks there for the taking. Polyphonic possesses his share of ability on the level and is the obvious threat,
