Won over 3¼m here on last season's reapopearance. Touch disappointing in 3 subsequent outings last season but he's clearly capable when fresh and his stable has got back among the winners in recent days.
Bumper/multiple hurdles winner who clearly hasn't been easy to train but all his ability remains judged on a pair of runner-up efforts over fences last winter (including here). Steps up to 3m for the first time over fences on this reappearance.
Back on track, in first-time cheekpieces (retained), when second of 7 in C&D handicap (good to soft) when last seen in February. Claims if returning in similar form.
Ran to a useful level when second in 17-runner handicap at Exeter off 2 lb higher last December. Made a respectable return to action when 10 lengths sixth on his 3¼m course reappearance 4 weeks ago and he's nicely treated if back to his best.
Made heavy weather of landing the odds in a C&D hunter last March and tried in cheekpieces (off now) when pulled up in hunter chase at Cheltenham following month. Needs to hit the ground running on his return.
Lightly-raced Irish points winner who has shown promise on both his chase starts, prominent for a long way when last of 7 in 2½m course listed race on his reappearance 4 weeks ago. This is much more realistic and he's a very interesting contender.
Fairly useful winning hurdler/chaser at up to 2½m in France. Off 13 months, never involved on his 2½m Wetherby stable debut 15 days ago. Up significantly in trip. Could only consider if backed.
Looked a chaser on the up when winning this race off a 12 lb higher mark in 2020 but his career has been very disappointing since, including down the field on his course reappearance 4 weeks ago.
Better than ever back from wind surgery this autumn, winning then second over 3m at Bangor. No reason why she won't give her running again but this is a slightly better race.

MORNING SPIRIT could be sharper with last month's course reappearance behind him and might be worth siding with having dipped to 2 lb lower than when second in a competitive race at Exeter last winter. Upton Road is very much the unknown quantity and it wouldn't be any surprise to see him play a leading role now handicapping over a longer trip. Equus Dreamer was runner-up over C&D on his final outing last season and also makes the shortlist.
