Made up into a very smart chaser last season, career-best effort when landing Greatwood Gold Cup over C&D prior to a fine fourth in Aintree Grade 1 final start. Clearly retains all his ability judged on pair of efforts this term and he's a definite player here.
Improved equipped with tongue tie, bagging second victory of last term at Kempton (20.5f) in March. Solid return to action when third in 6-runner handicap at Market Rasen (21.4f) in October but his present mark does demand that little bit more.
Enhanced good strike rate over fences with facile victory at Doncaster (19f, heavy) in March and matched that level when runner-up from 9 lb higher when second at Haydock (19.9f) final start in April. Still low mileage at this trip and he's fancied to go well on return.
Useful hurdler who landed an Exeter novice (19.2f) on chase debut in February and similar form in defeat thereafter, 15 lengths third in Grade 1 at Aintree final outing. Entitled to come forward from last month's return at Cheltenham and step back up in trip a likely plus.
Tricky customer (often finds little) but couldn't be faulted when finally off the mark over fences in listed handicap at Ayr (20.5f) in April. Return fourth in Old Roan was another solid display (second and third won since) and he's respected back down in class.

Forecasts
Beakstown (2/1), Paint The Dream (5/2), Numitor (5/1), Killer Clown (5/1), The Widdow Maker (11/2), Caribean Boy (6/1)
An interesting handicap despite the small field with the vote narrowly in favour of PAINT THE DREAM. Impressive when landing the Greatwood Gold Cup over C&D last season, he'll find this much less demanding than his latest assignment in the Charlie Hall (far from disgraced) with the drop back in trip another plus. The form of Beakstown's fourth in the Old Roan has been boosted and he. along with Numitor head up the dangers.
