ADAMARIS completed a double here last winter and shaped as if better for the run when third at this course 3 weeks ago. Back up in trip, he makes plenty of appeal and is marginally preferred to Gibraltar, who shaped well in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket last time. Thousand Tears and Supreme Jet both have scope for improvement based on hurdles form, so they're also worthy of consideration on handicap debut.
