Yet to live up to her useful pedigree but she was beaten only a length into third at Fontwell (19f) last time with a tongue tie added (retained) and it's still early days in her career. On the shortlist.
Modest form last season, ending his campaign with a pair of sixth-placed finishes in handicaps. Dropped 5 lb ahead of his reappearance which can only help.
Bumper winner who ran his best race over hurdles when second of 8 in handicap at Ffos Las (2m, good to soft) 28 days ago. Goes off the same mark here. Player.
Went off at 7/1 but finished well held in a big-field event at Stratford on his handicap debut/reappearance 36 days ago. Tongue strap worn on that occasion is discarded. Early days with him but hard to fancy on form.
Showed he can be competitive from his mark when reaching the frame at Taunton (19f) and Chepstow 92m) in the spring. Has a tongue tie refitted on his return from 8 months off.
Poor form in bumpers/over hurdles, including seventh of 10 on his 2¼m Fontwell handicap debut/reappearance 16 days ago. Did his best work at the finish on that occasion so this step back up in trip should suit.
Ran no sort of race with cheekpieces added on his Sedgefield handicap debut in April, struggling from halfway. The headgear is left off on his return to action and it's too soon to write him off given who trains him.
Poor form when fourth in a Cartmel novice hurdle in July 2021 and comfortably held in a Market Rasen handicap chase the following month. Absent since and can only really be watched on return.
Bumper winner who made no impact in a trio of novice hurdles earlier this year but offered more after 8 months off/breathing op when fourth at Ffos Las (2½m, soft) on handicap debut 14 days ago. Blinkers added now. Player.
Half-sister to useful hurdler Discovery Bay but no impact over timber so far, including pulling up on C&D handicap debut in June. Hasn't beaten a rival in 2 AW Flat outings since. Hard to make a case for.

Forecasts
Colonial Empire (3/1), Accidental Legend (7/2), Captain Claude (7/2), Patient Owner (4/1), Justshortofabubble (9/1), Yvette Guilbert (12/1), Hesbehindyou (22/1), Punta Prima (25/1), Ballynagran (66/1), Sweet Dime (100/1)
CAPTAIN CLAUDE is given a chance to build on a quite encouraging start to his handicap career at Ffos Las a fortnight ago. Colonial Empire was runner-up off this mark last time and merits repect again, while Dan Skelton's Yvette Guilbert was beaten only a length into third last time and there's still time for her to come good.
