Bumper winner who landed 6-runner maiden on hurdles bow at Uttoxeter (20f) in July and built on that when runner-up at Perth (16.2f) next time. Badly hampered and let down by jumping on handicap bow at Bangor (16.6f) next time and better showing anticipated here.
Steady progress in a trio of Irish bumpers for J. J. Lambe in May/June and definite promise in pair of novice hurdles for new yard, not seen to best effect in a messy race when fifth at Kelso (22.7f) 2 weeks ago. Better to come.
Ex-pointer who showed fair form when finishing runner-up on 4 of his 5 starts in maiden/novice hurdles during first half of this year. Undergone wind surgery ahead of return and he's a live player provided his headstrong tendencies can be kept in check.
Modest Flat performer (stays 12.5f) and similar form in a couple of starts over hurdles earlier this year, finishing a distant second in maiden company here (15.7f) in March. Handicaps likely to be more his bag in due course.
Half-brother to useful hurdler/high-class chaser Secret Investor and confirmed promise of his bumper debut second when running out a convincing winner at Sedgefield (16.8f) in April. Just the type to make his mark now hurdling for his good yard.
Imperial Monarch gelding who was pulled up only start in points and, despite being well backed, shaped as if needing the experience when well held in a Sedgefield bumper (16.8f) last month. Hurdles debut.
Shirocco gelding who has showed some ability in a couple of bumper outings in recent months without threatening. Probably best watched now sights are set on hurdles.
Arctic Cosmos mare. Dam (h110), 21f hurdle winner (stayed 3m). 125/1, proved too free when well beaten in a Chepstow bumper back in March. Best watched now hurdling on return with a hood fitted.
Fair winner on Flat (stays 2¼m) who stepped up on yard debut run when fourth in handicap at Pontefract (18f) last month. Set a stiff task and never figured next time but possible she'll be a longer-term project in this sphere in any case.

Forecasts
Imperial Merlin (6/4), Cartonne (13/8), Ballyporeen (9/2), Fenna's Loss (12/1), Visite Officielle (14/1), Shir I Dont Know (50/1), Edgar Allan Poe (50/1), Jimvale (100/1), Lastordersplease (250/1)
IMPERIAL MERLIN looked a good prospect in bumpers, off the mark at the second attempt at Sedgefield in April. Just the type his yard do well with over hurdles, he could be the way to go on return, with Cartonne the chief danger. Ballyporeen may do best of the remainder.
