Thomas Mor²⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: T Scudamore| T: D Pipe

2/1

Off the mark in Irish points at the fifth attempt and followed up in an 8-runner 23f novice hurdle at Worcester on Rules debut. Open to improvement and makes plenty of appeal despite the penalty.

Form: 2435-11

More Beer^p1,t³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: Gearoid Harney⁽⁷⁾| T: S Hosie

250/1

Well held in a bumper for Tim Fitzgerald in November 2020 and no encouragement on hurdling/stable debut at Plumpton 3 days ago.

Form: 7/P

Twin Power²⁴⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Adrian Heskin| T: P F Nicholls| BFWS

4/1

Ran to quite a useful level when second to Rosy Redrum (runner-up in Listed since) on Wincanton debut in January. Disappointed at Warwick since but can't be written off now going hurdling on return.

Form: 23-

Martineau

Age: 4| Weight: 10-13| J: M G Nolan| T: J W Mullins

80/1

€16,000 3-y-o, Mahler gelding. Dam, of little account, closely related to fairly useful hurdler/chaser (stays 3½m) Ballyegan Hero.

Forecasts

Last Royal (5/6), Thomas Mor (2/1), Twin Power (4/1), Martineau (80/1), More Beer (250/1)

The form of LAST ROYAL's C&D win in March is the best on offer and he should be ready to go after 7 months off, so he's preferred to Thomas Mor, who made the ideal start under Rules when successful at Worcester last month. Twin Power is also worthy of interest.
