Better than ever this season under a change of tactics, again making all and jumping well in C&D mares' handicap under this rider a fortnight ago, Another bold bid likely up 8 lb.
Modest maiden hurdler, shaped as if retaining all ability in first-time tongue strap/after breathing op after 7 months off at Newton Abbot last month. Could do better over fences.
Won back-to-back chases at Ludlow/over C&D last winter. Should have come on for last month's return over hurdles at Worcester and probably not on a bad mark if he can keep the mistakes down.
Standout effort for Harry Whittington when second in 17f Fontwell novice hurdle in November. Has the physique for chasing but little to shout about from 4 runs in this sphere (2 for current yard this season). Mark down another 5 lb.
Modest maiden jumper, well held again over C&D behind Princess Midnight when last seen in June. Blinkers the new headgear of choice now.
Backed at big odds as he bounced back to open his account under Rules in 19.2f Exeter handicap chase when last seen in December. Up 5 lb and the betting may guide again on first run for 11 months.
Point winner who took 2 mares' handicap hurdles last season (eye-catcher in-between). Shaped as if amiss on chase debut/return at Stratford last month but no reason why she shouldn't prove as good over fences if all is well.
Won brace of handicap hurdles in a busy 2020-21 campaign. Was really getting the hang of things over fences as last season ended (split subsequent winners fitted with cheekpieces final outing) and should find a race in this sphere.
Modest winning handicap hurdler, in good form when last seen in May. More needed now chasing but interesting to note any market support on return.

Forecasts
Ballybeen (7/4), Jobesgreen Lad (7/2), Just Go For It (6/1), Princess Midnight (6/1), Lamanver Storm (8/1), Kestrel Valley (14/1), Eurowork (20/1), Calidad (28/1), Rock On Rita (28/1)
PRINCESS MIDNIGHT continues to go from strength to strength and she could notch up another win. Kestrel Valley is interesting on her return, while Ballybeen could do better over fences and shouldn't lack for fitness after last month's Newton Abbot run.
- Kestrel Valley14/1
- Ballybeen7/4
