Consistent sort who signed off for last term with good second of 6 in handicap chase at Sedgefield (19f) in April. Probably needed the run on last month's reappearance and this former C&D winner ought to be sharper now.
Won over hurdles at Haydock (3m) in March and Cartmel (2¾m) in June. Solid start to his chase career when second in a Cartmel novice in August but not in the same form when a well-held third in 3m Hexham handicap last month. Back down in trip.
Fair chase winner in Ireland for Paul Nolan. Below form there this summer and perhaps best watched on stable debut unless the betting vibes are strong.
Dual winner over hurdles last season. Fair form switched to fences this season and being dropped another 2 lb can only help.
First outing since leaving Padraig Roche in Ireland when well-held third in a small field at Sedgefield 5 weeks ago. Has a tongue strap refitted now. Betting is perhaps the best guide to expectations.
Made a very good start over fences for this yard in the spring, winning 3 times. Shaped better than the result in 2 comeback outings last month and remains open to improvement. Stable in good form.
Dual chaser winner in France last autumn. Has a 12-month absence to overcome on his debut for new connections but the booking of Brian Hughes takes the eye.

HIDDEN COMMANDER found 3m on soft ground stretching his stamina last time and is well worth another chance with his stable among the winners. Brian Hughes partnered a chase winner for the James Ewart stable at Kelso last weekend and the fact he's on Heroique de Maulde suggests this French recruit might be ready to go after a year off the track. Road Warrior will likely come on for his reappearance and may prove best of the rest.
