Smart handicap chaser at his best but ran poorly both starts last season and no easy task under top weight after almost a year off.
Smart staying chaser on his day but just the one decent effort last season when runner-up in Rowland Meyrick at Warwick on Boxing Day. Starts the new campaign off a handy mark at least, though usual headgear is left off.
Improved performer last season, following up his Exeter win on New Year's Day at Sandown. Not in same form at Doncaster final start but has since joined a top yard. Very interesting.
Veteran chaser who scored twice at Haydock last December. Well held since, however, including back over hurdles on return.
Took very well to fences in 2020/21, winning all 3 completed starts. Won both starts in novice events back hurdling last term but unseated rider returned to this sphere final start. Remains a chaser with potential.
Multiple hurdles winner who initially took well to chasing, impressive when landing 22.5f Newbury novice handicap at Christmas. Struggled in handicaps at Cheltenham/Aintree Festivals last 2 starts, however.
Landed 3m Doncaster handicap over Christmas but below par all 4 runs since. Has something to prove on return.
Good record at Exeter, making all in extended 3m veterans' handicap there in February. Well held in the Ultima at Cheltenham Festival next time and others look better treated.
Gutsy winner of the Classic Chase at Warwick in 2020/21 but mostly disappointed last season. However, did win this race on his comeback off this mark 2 years ago so could bounce back.
Showed improved form when off the mark over fences in handicap at Hereford (25.2f) in February and followed up at Newbury (23.4f) following month. Only fifth off revised mark at Uttoxeter final start, however.
Low-mileage 9-y-o who made all sporting a first-time tongue strap at Ffos Las in May 2021. Well held next 2 starts 12 months apart, however.
Low-mileage veteran who made it 3-5 over fences in 8-runner handicap at Hereford (25.2f) when last seen in February. Cheekpieces go on for 1st time now and not taken lightly up in class.

Le Milos (3/1), Ask Me Early (7/2), Notachance (9/2), Fuji Flight (5/1), The Galloping Bear (11/2), Grumpy Charley (7/1), Whoshotthesheriff (10/1), Kalooki (12/1), Rapid Flight (14/1), Run To Milan (18/1), La Cavsa Nostra (22/1), Minella Bobo (28/1), Lord Du Mesnil (33/1), Blaklion (50/1), Bennys King (80/1)
LE MILOS disappointed at Doncaster when last seen in March but he was on the upgrade prior to that and may have more to offer still starting out for Dan Skelton. Ask Me Early remains with potential as a chaser and could land a big prize this term. 2020-winner Notachance is another to consider in a good race.
